Superalloys are the highest value per pound we take, and the stream where provenance is worth the most. A turbine section with a known history and a bin labelled ‘nickel alloy’ are not the same offer, because one of them carries an uncertainty discount and the other does not.

Grading is not our invention and it is not a negotiating tactic — it is how this material is priced everywhere. Knowing which grade you are holding is the difference between being paid for it and being paid for the cheapest thing in the container.

| Inconel 600 / 625 / 718 | Nickel-chromium alloys, the most common superalloys we see. 718 in particular off rotating equipment. |
| Hastelloy C-276 / X | Nickel-molybdenum-chromium. Typically off chemical process and combustion hardware. |
| Waspaloy and René | High-strength nickel-base, almost always turbine hot section. |
| Stellite and cobalt-base | Cobalt-chromium, usually as hardfacing, valve trim and wear surfaces. |
| Monel | Nickel-copper. Graded on its own — it is not an Inconel and should not travel as one. |
| Mixed superalloy | Unlabelled or commingled alloy. Graded conservatively until analysis says otherwise. |
Kept as a separated stream. Chemistry on anything blended to a specification is verified by an independent laboratory before it ships. Controlled articles go through documented demilitarization first.
