Most secondary smelters will only buy. If you would rather keep your metal — because it is a known chemistry, because it is a proprietary blend, or because you simply want the value rather than the offer — we will run it and hand it back.

You keep title

Toll melting is not a sale. Your material stays yours through the whole process — we charge to melt and return it, rather than buying it from you. Nothing about the metal price moves against you while it sits in the queue.

Weighed in, weighed out

Material is weighed on certified scales at intake and again at return, and both tickets go to you. Recovery on a given lot depends on how clean the feed is; we tell you what to expect before the heat runs, not after.

Poured to a format you can use

Returned as ingot, bar, sow or pig depending on what your downstream process feeds. If you are charging someone else’s furnace with it, the format matters as much as the chemistry.

Three furnaces, because one will not do

Induction

Coreless induction for tight-chemistry work and high-value alloy. Fast to temperature, minimal atmosphere contact, and controllable enough to hold a blend where it is supposed to sit.

Rotary

Tilting rotary for heavier, dirtier and mixed feed — the lots that come off a teardown still carrying oxide, coating or attached hardware. It handles what a clean-charge furnace would choke on.

Crucible & tilting

Smaller batch work. Short runs, trial blends and lots too small to justify a main-furnace heat, without your material being diluted into somebody else’s charge.

Alloy families we will run

Copper, brass and bronze

Windings, bus bar, cable, fittings and castings. Our highest-volume non-ferrous stream, so the handling is routine rather than exceptional.

Aluminum

Extrusion, sheet, castings and wheels. Rotary for coated and mixed feed, induction where the chemistry has to hold.

Lead

Ballast, shielding and industrial lead, handled under controlled conditions.

High-temperature alloys

Inconel, Hastelloy, Waspaloy, René, Stellite and other nickel and cobalt-based superalloys, plus titanium. Small lots, high value — the case for tolling rather than selling is strongest here.

Ferrous

Structural steel, plate, cast iron and machine bases. Usually better sold outright than tolled, and we will say so.

Tungsten carbide

Inserts, tooling and wear parts. Tell us what you have before shipping and we will confirm the route.

Verified by an independent laboratory

Third-party analysis

Chemistry on toll work is verified by an outside laboratory, not by us. We are the party with an interest in the result, so the check does not belong in our hands.

You get the report

The lab result travels with your metal. If it does not land where it was supposed to, you will know from a document rather than from a downstream failure.

Blends to specification

If you are tolling to a target rather than back to your own input chemistry, tell us the spec first — that determines the furnace, the charge order, and whether the job is worth running at all.

When tolling is the wrong call

Small lots of common metal

Under a certain volume, the setup cost of a dedicated heat outweighs what you would gain over an outright sale. We would rather quote you a purchase price than take a fee for a job that does not pay you back.

Feed you cannot describe

Unknown or heavily mixed material makes recovery unpredictable, and unpredictable recovery makes a toll fee a bad deal for you. Sell it, or let us sort it first.

When the equipment is worth more whole

If the thing you were about to melt still has a second life, our recovery division will tell you what it is worth running instead. That gap is usually the biggest number on the table.
